The barista, with his gorgeous dreadlocks and a tattoo of a rose on his right forearm, looked up at her, glanced down at her two kids, and nodded his head.
“I can see that you do,” he said with a smile. “Hopefully, this will help you out.”
But i knew it wouldn’t.
She may have a short-lived caffeine hit, but she was going to be left with the same griping kids, the same cluttered home, and the same lingering stress that gripped her heart day and night.
'She doesn’t need a cup of coffee,’ I thought. ‘we just need to spend a week together.’
That’s when it hit me!
• A cup of coffee.
• A week together…
What if i could trade an entire week together for something as cheap as a cup of coffee? I decided right there at Starbucks that I would pull together a week-long full-life makeover for overwhelmed moms for the price of a cup of coffee.
When the barista handed me my cup of coffee, I took a picture of it. that is how much it would cost—$6.80! the price of a cup of coffee.
